The Geological Data Center:
The mission of the GDC is to curate and provide access to oceanographic data, especially from Scripps expeditions, making them accessible for scientific and educational use worldwide. The GDC currently has three main projects: the Science Support Office of the International Ocean Discovery Program, Rolling Deck to Repository, and SeaView. The GDC also maintains the SIOExplorer portal for historic Scripps vessel data.
